CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary this September, has become Hungary's best-known and most popular film festival. Each September, film professionals and audiences can enjoy the most important and highly regarded films from the world's film industry from the past year, all of which are Hungarian premieres in the Competition Programme and the Panorama section.

As a result, we are honoured to have the FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) delegate a jury of internationally renowned film critics to our festival each year.

Important final decision in a case concerning unlawfully withdrawn EU funding

The Budapest Court of Appeal overturned the first-instance judgment in favor of our client in a case concerning an EU tender. The significance of the decision is that the court clarified that a mere change in technical parameters (in this case, the location of the project) does not make the subsidy recoverable if the tender has otherwise been implemented.
